Customs Statistics: Danish Trade Information for October 2018
According to Eurostat, the total import and export of Danish goods was US$178.04 billion in January-October 2018, an increase of 9.9% over the same period of the previous year. Among them, exports were 91.60 billion US dollars, an increase of 7.3%; imports were 86.44 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.8%. The trade surplus was 5.16 billion US dollars, down 41.0%.
In October, the import and export of Danish goods was US$ 18.65 billion, an increase of 3.1%. Among them, exports were 9.77 billion US dollars, up 3.8%; imports were 8.88 billion US dollars, up 2.3%. The trade surplus was US$900 million, an increase of 20.8%.
From January to October, the bilateral trade in goods between Denmark and China was US$8.64 billion, an increase of 5.9%. Among them, Denmark's exports to China were 2.66 billion US dollars, down 4.0%, accounting for 2.9% of Denmark's total exports, down 0.3 percentage points; Denmark's imports from China were 5.98 billion US dollars, up 11.0%, accounting for 6.9% of total Danish imports, down 0.1 percentage point. The Danish trade deficit was 3.32 billion US dollars, an increase of 26.9%.
As of October, China is Denmark's eighth largest export market and the fourth largest source of imports.
