Customs Statistics: October 2018 Estonia Trade Information
According to the statistics of Eurostat, the import and export volume of Estonian goods was US$30.37 billion in January-October 2018, an increase of 18.2% over the same period of the previous year. Among them, exports were 14.22 billion US dollars, up 18.8%; imports were 16.15 billion US dollars, up 17.6%. The trade deficit was 1.93 billion US dollars, an increase of 9.6%.
In October, the import and export of Estonian goods was 3.35 billion US dollars, an increase of 16.1%. Among them, exports were US$1.56 billion, up 14.4%; imports were US$1.79 billion, up 17.6%. The trade deficit was 230 million US dollars, an increase of 46.1%.
From January to October, the import and export volume of bilateral goods between Estonia and China was 850 million US dollars, an increase of 0.2%. Among them, Estonia exported 190 million US dollars to China, down 6.6%, accounting for 1.3% of its total exports; Estonia imported 670 million US dollars from China, an increase of 2.3%, accounting for 4.1% of its total imports. The trade deficit of the Irish side was 480 million US dollars, an increase of 6.2%.
As of October, China is the 16th largest export market and the ninth largest source of imports in Estonia.
